AP Physics 2

Free AP Physics 2 practice built around the mistakes students actually make. Algebra-based, all 46 topics across units 9 to 15. Every topic ships a lesson built around the specific errors students actually make, and a ten-scenario skill check where each wrong answer is one of those errors, named and corrected.

Why the units start at 9

Physics 1 and Physics 2 are one sequence, and this site numbers them as one: Physics 1 is units 1 through 8, Physics 2 is units 9 through 15. The College Board's Physics 2 CED numbers these same seven units 1 through 7, so unit 9 here is CED unit 1, unit 10 is CED unit 2, and so on. If you are looking for kinematics, forces, energy, momentum, rotation, oscillations or fluids, they are in AP Physics 1.

Why misconception-targeted, not problem volume

Working more problems only helps if the wrong ones get corrected. This course is organised the other way around: 168 documented errors, catalogued per unit, each with the mistaken step written out and the correction beside it. Every distractor in every skill check is one of those errors producing its own number, so choosing it tells you exactly which idea to repair rather than that you missed.
