Safety. Keep the phone secure during rotation. Do not attach it to anything unsafe. Keep clear of moving parts on a stool or turntable.
Sensor reality. Phones report rotation at roughly 30 to 60 times per second, so a slow, steady spin reads cleanly while a very fast flick may look choppy.
