A large truck and a small car collide head-on. During the instant of collision, how do the forces each vehicle exerts on the other compare?
Same force, opposite directions. The truck's mass doesn't make its force bigger; it makes its acceleration smaller. From $a = F/m$: same $F$, smaller $a$ for bigger $m$, so the car gets thrown harder. If you said the forces cancel, third-law pairs act on different objects.
