Practice only helps if something changes between attempts. The redesigned course maps to a fixed taxonomy of 65 misconception codes across the 5 units, and every lesson is written against those codes directly rather than against a generic topic outline.

Lessons walk the concept in a real data context and close with a skill check, where each wrong choice explains the specific error that produces it. In statistics the error is usually a sentence, not a calculation: a conclusion stated without context, a p-value read as the probability the null is true, a confidence level attached to a single interval. The lessons drill the sentences. Diagnostics then find which of those sentences you still write, and drills work on that one until it stops appearing.

Why targeting misconceptions works

Most AP Statistics questions are not hard because the computation is hard. They are built to catch a specific wrong idea. A p-value is not the probability the null hypothesis is true. A 95 percent confidence level is not a 95 percent chance the parameter is in your one interval. Correlation in an observational study is not causation. The standard deviation of a sampling distribution is not the standard deviation of the sample. If you do not hold the misconception, the question is routine. If you do, more practice with it intact just rehearses it.

That is why this course is built around diagnose, then drill rather than around problem count. Working two hundred problems while a misconception is still in place rebuilds it two hundred times. Working a handful of problems aimed directly at that misconception, with an explanation after each, is what actually replaces it.

Does this cover the redesigned course?

Yes, and only the redesigned course. College Board redesigned AP Statistics starting with the 2026-27 school year: 5 units, 55 topics, first exam May 2027. Most older prep materials still follow the retired 9-unit course; everything here is built against the new framework.

What is available right now?

Where should I start?

Start with Unit 1. It opens the course, carries 20 to 30 percent of the multiple-choice section, and its ideas about distributions, variability, and study design run under everything that follows.

Is this aligned to the College Board framework?

Yes. Units, topics, and exam weightings follow the redesigned AP Statistics Course and Exam Description, and every lesson is written against an internal misconception code drawn from a fixed taxonomy for the course.

How long does a session take?

A lesson with its skill check runs about 15 to 20 minutes. Diagnostics and drills will run shorter: roughly 10 to 15 minutes for a diagnostic and 5 to 10 for a single drill.
