Where the Ideal Gas Law Breaks

PV = nRT assumes two things that are false about every real gas: that particles take up no space, and that they do not attract each other. Both assumptions hold beautifully — until they don’t. And they fail in a completely predictable place. This is Topic 3.1’s intermolecular forces, showing up inside the gas law.
